Jerome Lecat
Scality
Jérôme Lecat, a visionary entrepreneur and digital pioneer, began exploring computer science at the age of 13, quickly developing databases and teaching computer science. An engineer by training, he discovered Silicon Valley in 1989 and, fascinated by the rise of the Internet, founded Internet Way in 1994, one of the first access providers in France.
In 2003, he created Bizanga, specializing in anti-spam, which he sold in 2010 to launch Scality, an innovative storage solution that is experiencing rapid growth. A staunch defender of French Tech, he has actively supported its international influence and campaigns for a France recognized in digital innovation.
Jérôme Lecat is also involved in humanitarian causes, notably through EnsembleUkraine, an initiative that has raised more than €1.5 million to support victims of war. Convinced that "success brings responsibility", he combines innovation, universal values and charitable commitments in all his enterprises.
